During the summer months, the park is open for swimming in the cool mountain water. White sandy beaches await avid sunbathers along with a two-flume, 300' waterslide. Two sand volleyball courts are available for family fun or tournament games. Rowboats, aqua cycles and paddleboards are available for rent for a leisurely ride around the lake. Snack bars are located on the north and south beaches. A boathouse offers fishing supplies and boat rentals.
For the sailing enthusiast, sailboats and sailboards are available for rent during the summer months.

The Lake Gregory Fitness Trail is a 2-mile loop around the park featuring exercise stations (Para Course). The trail is composed of a natural surface 3-8' in width.
