Description - Ocean Lake covers approximately 6,000 surface acres. Fish species include trout, walleye, perch, bluegill, green sunfish, and crappie. Fishing is permitted year-round with a Wyoming State license. There is limited access via shoreline roads.

- Several boat ramps are located at developed recreation sites around the lake. Available services include campsites with tables, windscreens and shelters, group picnic shelters, accessible restrooms and shelters, boat ramps, and primitive camping. There is no drinking water available at the lake.
Recreation - Activities at Ocean Lake include; fishing, camping, picnicking, big game and waterfowl hunting in season with a Wyoming State hunting license, hiking, watchable wildlife, and horseback riding. Climate - The climate in Wyoming changes with the topography. Generally the western mountains and basins receive large amounts of precipitation and create a rain shadow for eastern Wyoming. Most of the precipitation occurs during the winter months and falls in the form of snow. Ocean Lake is located off U.S. 26, 20 miles west of Riverton in Central Wyoming. From Riverton head south on N Federal Blvd toward E Main St., take the 1st right onto US-26 W/E Main St (signs for Yellowstone/Teton National Parks/Dubois)continue to follow US-26 W. (19.0 mi). Turn right onto WY-133 N for 4.1 mi. Turn right onto WY-134 E/Missouri Valley Rd fpr 4.7 mi.
