Report: Moderate drive from the highway. Road is good. Very nice facilities. There are not many camps here, and the lower ones were quite muddy. Our campsite was exquisite. ranger frequents this area. There was one other group, and they liked to run back and forth accross the river in their Jeeps. Lots of shooting, as it was the opening day of blackpowder. I didn't know there were that many deer in the forest. They were a friendly group, though. Good access to river.
Conditions: A little muddy down in the lower areas. Campsites are in the woods. Very nice.
Water Availability: Untreated. River water. Bring your own potable water.
